Dr. Jason Kovac is a fellowship-trained Reproductive Urologist. He serves as the Regional Medical Director for Posterity Health in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. He is a dual board-certified Urologist in both the United States and Canada. 

Dr. Kovac obtained his MD and Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario. He completed his urology residency at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and completed his Fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX where he focused on male fertility and sexual medicine. During his time in Houston, Dr. Kovac worked closely with the originator of the modern vasectomy reversal, Dr. Larry Lipshultz, and Dr. Dolores Lamb, a pioneer of male fertility research. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Kovac served as the Director of the Men’s Health Center at Urology of Indiana. 

He is board-certified by the Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). 

Dr. Kovac is a trailblazer for male fertility research, and has led multiple clinical trials on male fertility, scrotal pain, and hormone management techniques, and continues to lead similar research efforts.

Clinical Research 

Dr. Kovac is a well-respected member of the Andrology community and actively participates in clinical male fertility research studies. Dr. Kovac has published over 100 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and numerous textbook chapters relating to male fertility and reproductive health. Dr. Kovac additionally serves as a peer-reviewer for over 14 journals and is currently on the editorial boards of several high-profile medical journals including:
